Hubballi: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah reached out to Niranjan Hiremath, father of Neha Hiremath, offering condolences over Neha’s tragic demise. He assured the grieving family of government support and pledged swift justice for Neha, who fell victim to a brutal attack by her former classmate Fayaz Khondunaik within BVB College premises on April 18.

Expressing deep sympathy, the CM assured Niranjan Hiremath that Neha’s murder case has been entrusted to the CID, with plans for a special court to ensure a timely trial.

In response, Niranjan expressed appreciation for the CM’s actions and support during this challenging period. He acknowledged the cooperation of local leaders in assisting his family during this trying time.

Addressing reporters, HK Patil condemned the heinous incident and conveyed condolences to the bereaved family.

Meanwhile, Niranjan reflected on his recent remarks against the CM, Home Minister, and Police Commissioner, attributing them to emotional distress and a lack of complete information.

Additionally, Neha’s mother has taken steps to address cyber harassment, lodging a complaint with cybercrime police regarding a new Instagram account named FayazNeha, allegedly sharing photos of Neha on various online platforms.
